In Oct. 2008, College of Mechanical and Electrical engineering adjusted the administrative authority of IPME（Institute of Plastic Machinery and Engineering）, and appointed Wu Daming as the director; Xue Ping, He Yadong, Xin Chunling and Ding Yun were, separately, deputy directors.

In the recent meeting of staff, director Wu announced functional responsibilities of administrative authority :

Prof. Wu Daming is in charge of general work, as well as the construction of team and academic disciplines;

Prof. Xue Ping is in charge of the construction of scientific research base and management of laboratories;

Dr. He Yadong is in charge of construction of academic disciplines;

Dr. Xin Chunling is in charge of administration, trade unions and international liaison;

Dr. Ding Yun is in charge of the administration of graduate students and the propaganda work.

The new administrative authority represented by Wu Daming expressed that they would do their best for the progress of institute. Prof. Wu also put forward the ideas about the construction of academic disciplines, building of effective teams and scientific research work, as well as the focus of recent work.
