The Process System Engineering Laboratory at Chemical Engineering
Department, Chung Yuan Christian University (Taiwan), is seeking a visiting
researcher or postdoctoral researcher in the development of effective
control techniques of the nonlinear switching processes for biofuel
production.
Candidates with background and interest in numerical optimization,
performance assessment and monitoring, and adaptive/intelligent control are
most warmly welcome. The candidate is required to hold a Ph.D. or an
equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied
Mathematics, or a related field. Also, good communication, interpersonal and
presentation skills are needed.
The successful applicant will receive about NTD55,000/month plus health
insurance. (US$1.0 is about NTD31, sometimes fluctuating.). The duration of
the project is one year with potentially another 1-2 years of extension,
subject to the candidate's performance and funding availability.
